Dog Ability 🐶
As a dog, you will have the ability to memorize various scents. The green cloud that you see near the characters' legs in the image below represents their scent, which you can memorize. As a dog, you'll be able to follow their scent trails in order to track them down. They each move around on their own unique daily schedules, so this will be a very convenient tool for you to use on your adventures. You may even be able to use this ability to find items that people have lost.
Face Icons
We've also prepared face icons for each character to help players remember which character's scent they've currently memorized. Our UI staff worked hard to create these, and the icons look really nice, so we're going to show off some of them here. Even creepy old Morris looks nice and handsome!
Today, we're proud to present to you the theme song for The Good Life and its music video! This song was created specifically for The Good Life, and we feel it perfectly fits with the game. The music video is filled with nostalgic imagery and atmosphere, and should help conjure images up in your mind about the rural town of Rainy Woods and how it's been cut off from the passage of time.
We hope this music video makes you even more excited for your new life in Rainy Woods!

Sheep Types
This month, we're going to introduce the different types of sheep that can be found in the game. First off, the sheep will have different colours of fur. The sheep you see below has brown and grey fur. You'll find other colours as well, so you can choose which colour of sheep you'd like to ride.
As you can see below, sheep will have different horn sizes as well. Their horn size will determine how much power they have when destroying things and maintaining speed. You'll also see sheep that look fat or thin, and their body types will determine how easy they are to control. Find the best sheep for you and go out on an adventure!
Kevin the Tourist
Here's Kevin, who we introduced with an illustration last time! Here is his in-game model, which was only created thanks to the backer who chose the Kickstarter reward to become an NPC in the game. Take a look at the finished 3D model! He really stands out, so you're sure to spot him strolling around town. Don't forget to say hi to him!
We've finally reached the climax of the development cycle, which has allowed us to implement the story and a lot of other fun elements. The other day, we finished recording all the lines with our Japanese voice cast. We made sure that every character's unique personality comes out in their voices, so we hope you're excited to play the final product.
Here's a special message from Naomi's Japanese VA, Mie Sonozaki.
The recording for The Good Life was a ton of fun. In Japanese, Naomi has a very "Edokko" atmosphere to her, not to mention the fact that she's a New Yorker who doesn't even have enough money to live day to day. I was really excited to do all her scenes. I hope you all enjoy the struggle to pay off her debt while uncovering the secrets of the cute and mysterious town of Rainy Woods!

Sheep Time Trial
We are working on sheep racing time trials! In a certain event, you will be challenged to a time trial of doging obstacles and reaching the goal with limited time on a sheep! The sheep you ride are called Herdwick Sheep and live in the mountain areas of Britain. They are pretty tough, and have long limp tails. In the Good Life, you will be a sheep that appears a lot. Things are starting to become more final, look forward to the release!
This time, we're going to introduced the posters we created based on the requests of our beloved backers! These posters will decorate the pub in the game, so be sure to keep an eye out for them when you're playing! We polished these posters to the best of our ability and finely-tuned them to match The Good Life's art style. Here they are!
The first one is Philip's poster.

We designed this one to look like a vintage film poster. It looks like an old movie that really did exist, making it match perfectly with the pub interior!
The second one is Whitney's poster.
Title: Whitney Plays Survival Horror Games! We designed this one to look more like an event poster.
It looks fun, and the dog is super cute!
We are so thankful to all our backers for helping us to add more color and variety to our game.

■Blizzard
The Good Life has snowy mountains, and those mountains sometimes have blizzards.
Today we got some footage of those blizzards.
You can see the weather changing over time and Naomi`s standing pose changing to a shiver.
Her face is changing and you can see her breath, it looks really cold. Whill Naomi be ok...?
Many animals now move around.
This is a clip of testing some of it. Some dig in the ground, some run away when you get close, there are lots of animals in this world.
Some are really small so please keep an eye out when playing the game.
When we launched the Kickstarter campaign, we offered as a unique reward the opportunity for one of the backers to be added to the game as an NPC tourist character. Everyone, we would like you to introduce you to Kevin, our tourist.
The Rainy Woods’ international reputation is what ultimately brought Naomi to this part of England. And while she didn’t have much of a choice when it came to deciding on her destination, her compatriot Kevin is there as a genuine tourist. You can tell from looking at him that travelling around the world is his true calling. We are looking forward to having you meet him and find out more about his story and maybe Naomi can help him out with his own issues?
As we are still working on the game, we are holding on sending out the surveys to everyone.
Remember that once we start rolling out the surveys, we will be asking everyone to fill in their physical addresses and you will have to pay the shipping costs.
Once your survey is filled, you should still be able to edit your delivery address for some time, so no need to panic if you plan on moving. By waiting to send the surveys, we limit the number of backers who will have to edit their delivery details, and we do not request anyone to pay for the shipping costs that we don’t have to cover for yet.

■ Gardening
Gardening is huge in the UK, and Naomi also has a garden in her house.As mentioned before, you can plant flowers and vegetables to grow there.This time we will show you some of the garden.The garden can be customized and expanded to grow more plants.By expanding the garden the facilities will also become better.Gardening becomes more and more rewarding when you have a lavish garden.

■ Eating
Like introduced previously, each character lives on their own schedule.This time we will see what they eat.Everybody gets hungry.If you watch the villagers, each character will eat at cafes or restaurants.When you play the game please enjoy seeing what each character likes to eat.We're sure you will notice their likes and dislikes.
The Good Life will also feature some characters who don't live in Rainy Woods. This time, we're introducing Lucy Turner, who sends Naomi her job requests, Hugh Lee, and finally Naomi's rival, Daniel Miller. How exactly will they get involved with the story? You'll have to play the game to find out!
