■Characters with lots of emotions
Lots of the residents of Rainy Woods look unique, but they also have unique motions.
There are lots of prepared motions but here we will share a few.
Play the game to find out where and when you can see these motions!
■New backgrounds
In The Good Life, there is a large world outside of Rainy Woods.
A small village near the lake, a cave where you can mine minerals, and an old castle in the middle of the lake to name a few.
There will be lots of exciting locations to explore in this open world!

Happy holidays
With this year ending, we all wanted to wish you happy holidays, a merry Christmas, and all the best for the new year.
This upcoming year will be very important for us as we will launch The Good Life, and you will all be able to play the game finally. We are very excited to give you the opportunity to explore the mysteries of Rainy Woods, and anxious to hear your feedback on that project that you made possible!

The Good Lifeではレイニーウッズの外にも広大な世界が広がっています。
湖の周りにある小さな町や、鉱石が採取できる洞窟、湖に浮かぶ不思議な古城などなど。
オープンワールドならではの探索するワクワクを感じてもらえると思います！

今年ももう終わりが近づいてきました。The Good Lifeは、このアップデートが今年最後のアップデートになります。
ハッピーホリデー＆メリークリスマス！
そしてよいお年を！
来年は非常に大切な一年になります。
何故なら、The Good Lifeがリリースされ、皆さんの手に完成品が届く年になるからです。
Rainy Woodsの謎を探求する機会を皆さんにお届けできることをすごく楽しみにしています。

The Good Life Development News - November 2019
- Dog/cat forms for villagers, and wild animals
As you know, you'll be able to transform into a cat and a dog while controlling Naomi, but the inhabitants of Rainy Woods will also turn into cats or dogs under certain circumstances.
This month, we'd like to give you a glimpse of what the villagers look like after their transformations! Can you tell which villager is which animal?
We're also planning to put various wild animals in The Good Life. Hope you're excited to see how these different animals will get involved with the game!
When Naomi transforms into a cat or a dog, she can use unique actions that she otherwise wouldn't be have access to as a human. As a cat, she'll be able to jump inside boxes of a decent size, and as a dog, she'll be able to sense scents to be better at finding items. Cat lovers will go wild for the cute cat animations that ensue when you jump inside a box!

The Good Life 開発状況 2019年11月
プレイヤーであるナオミが「犬」と「猫」に変身するのはご存知だと思いますが、レイニーウッズの住人たちもある条件で「犬」もしくは「猫」に変身するという不思議な体質を持っています。
今回はその変身後の住人たちの犬・猫のモデルを一気にお見せしたいと思います！どの犬猫がどの住人なのかわかるでしょうか？
その他にもThe Good Lifeには色々な野生動物が登場予定です。これらの動物たちがゲームにどのように関わってくるのか、プレイするのが楽しみですね！
ナオミが犬もしくは猫に変身した時は、人間の時にはできない特殊なアクションを行えるようになります。猫の時は手ごろな大きさの箱の中に勝手に入ったり、犬の時は匂いに敏感になってアイテムを見つけやすくなる等です。特に箱の中に入って丸くなる猫のかわいい動きは、猫好きにはたまらないですね！

The Good Life Development News - Oct 2019
This is what it looks like when creating cut scenes. We place characters and backgrounds within the 3D tools and setup movements, cameras, and effects.
Then we write out the data so it can be used within the game.
Its kind of like making a delicious meal with fresh ingredients.
By the way, why is Naomi lying down? And what is that statue she is holding...?

■New Character Models
This time we have some screenshots of Henry Poe and Horatio Stringer.
Henry is a little strange, he communicates with animals through the sound of his violin, but will not speak to any human.
Horatio is a blind ex-military, usually he is a stubborn bigot except when he is eager to help his teacher Henry.
■New Backgrounds
There will be many backgrounds in the game, today we will show you the snowy mountains and the mines.
What could be beyond the maze-like mines...?
Let's look for some rare and beautiful scenery with Naomi!

今回は「ヘンリー・ポー」「ホレイショ・ストリンガー」のスクリーンショットを紹介します。
ヘンリーはバイオリンの音色を通じて動物と意思疎通を行う一方、人間とは一言もしゃべらない変わり者です。
ホレイショは盲目の元軍人で、普段は偏屈ですが師匠であるヘンリーに対してだけはヨイショしまくります。

ゲームには様々な背景が登場しますが、今回は制作中の雪山地方と、炭鉱をご紹介します。
迷路のような炭鉱の先に、何があるのでしょうか…？

We are getting to the point where we need to ask our backers that have an input on the in-game content.
The backers of the following tiers are concerned:

- The Connoisseur Life Tier
- The Vane Life Tier
- The Immortal Life Tier
- The Tourist Life Tier
Very shortly, those backers will receive an email from Thomas from ICO Partners, who is helping us managing the surveys, with instructions on how to get us the information we need.

・New Character Models
Today we will share the models of some characters we are working on, John Berryman and Douglas McAvoy. John loves to deconstruct machines and take them apart, he is the son of the Berryman couple. Douglas is a smith who wears a large set of armor. Safety first is his motto, and apparently he wears the armor to keep himself safe...
・Food Models
Here are some of the models for foods that appear in the game.
You can order lots of different dishes at the restaurants, you can take them outside to eat at your favorite place or give the food to other characters for them to eat. With special conditions, you may even be able to order food that is not on the menu. If the food cools off, then it won't taste as good so eat it while its hot. Taking some photos of the food and uploading them to the flamingo app may also be a good idea!

・新しいキャラクターモデル
新しく出来上がりつつあるキャラクター「ジョン・ベリーマン」「ダグラス・マカヴォイ」のスクリーンショットを紹介します。 ジョンは機械をバラバラに分解してしまうのが大好きな解体屋で、ベリーマン夫妻の息子です。 ダグラスは全身に鎧を着込んだ大柄な大工です。安全第一がモットーで、鎧はケガをしないように着ているとか…。
・料理のモデル
ゲームに登場する料理のモデルをいくつかご紹介します。
飲食店では色々な料理を注文する事ができますが、お店から外に持ち出してお気に入りの場所で食べたり、時には他の人に食べてもらう事もできます。 条件次第では、メニューにのっていない特別な料理を作ってもらえる事もあるようですよ。 料理は時間がたつと冷めて美味しくなくなってしまうので、ホカホカなうちに食べてしまいましょう。 食べる前に料理の写真を撮っておき、フラミンゴにアップロードするのも良いですね！
